Realme has released April 2021 security patch to Realme 7 Pro

After releasing the April 2021 security patch to the Realme 7 and the Narzo 20 Pro earlier today, Realme has started rolling out the April 2021 security patch to the Realme 7 Pro. The new update for Realme’s one of the best-selling smartphones is currently available in India and is expected to hit more countries over the next few days.

The new software update for the Realme 7 Pro with the April 2021 security patch has firmware version RMX2170PU_11.A.39. The official changelog mentions the updated security patch and it is likely that the new update won’t include any new features and will be restricted to security and bug fixes. Realme hasn’t yet revealed exactly which apps have received improvements by the April security patch.

If you are a Realme 7 Pro user in India or any country that has received the update, and if you haven’t received a notification for this update yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update and then tapping on Download and Install. Alternatively, if you don’t want to wait for the OTA update, you can download the latest firmware for the Realme 7 Pro via the official software update website and flash it manually.

The Realme 7 Pro was launched in India back in September 2020 running Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10. A couple of days back Realme rolled out the Android 11 stable Realme UI 2.0 update for the device.
