Realme 7 and Narzo 20 Pro get April Patch with New Beta Update

The April 2021 security update is rolling out to more and more devices with Realme UI 2.0. Today, Realme has started rolling out a new OTA update to the Realme 7 and Narzo 20 Pro in India. The new update carries the firmware version RMX2151_11_A.06/RMX2161_11_A.06.

The new beta OTA update brings the April 2021 security patch, several fixes as well as optimization in camera, settings, and system. The update is based on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. The update is sized around 670MB.

    • Optimized the image quality of the camera
    • Fixed the probabilistic screen flicker issue while shooting in Portrait mode

    • Fixed the display issue of icons on the status bar in some scenarios
    • Fixed the animation issue of swiping up to Home in Split screen

    • Fixed the probabilistic automatic restart issue of opening Netflix
    • Optimized system performance and improved system stability

The Realme 7’s and the Narzo 20 Pro’s new Android 11 update includes the April 2021 security patch. You can download the update over the air from the phone’s Settings » Software update menu. You may need to wait for a couple of days for the update to arrive on your device.
