Realme 7 Update Tracker: [Update: Realme UI 2.0 Beta Open], and More

The Realme 7 launched back in September 2020 boasts quite a few numbers on the spec sheet, be it either the 5,000mAh battery, the 6.5-inch display, 64-megapixel quad cameras, and more. It was launched running on realmeUI 1.0 based on Android 10. While Realme’s OS has some excellent features, it hasn’t been updated to Android 11 yet. Interestingly, the brand has already confirmed that the Realme 7 will be receiving realmeUI 2.0 based on Android 11. [December 25, 2020]: The Realme 7 users have started receiving a new update with the firmware number RMX2151PU_11_A.75 which updates the Security Patch to the month of November, optimizes the camera, touch control algorithm and fixes certain issues with photos. The complete changelog has been mentioned below.

[December 4, 2020]: Realme has started rolling out a new update for the Realme 7 carrying the build number RMX2151PU_11.A.69 which brings the November 2020 security patch, optimizes the image quality of the rear cameras, touch control algorithm, and fixes bugs. [October 11, 2020]: Realme has been continuously rolling out updates for the devices, and the Realme is no different. The Realme 7 has started to receive the RMX2151PU_11_A.59 update with the September Android security patch. With the update, there’s the addition of a Soloop video editing app, optimizations for HDR mode, image sharpness, clarity of the portraits, charging algorithm, and several other bug fixes. [September 21, 2020]: Realme has confirmed that the Realme 7 will be upgraded to the Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 by the end of December 2020.

[September 10, 2020]: Just ahead of the first sale, the brand has started rolling out a new update for the Realme 7 with RMX2151_11_A.43 coupled with the August Android security patch. The update adds AI and Professional mode in 64MP resolution, Adds 3 Night Filters – Modern Gold, Flamingo, Cyberpunk, while also optimizing the clarity of the rear camera, the quality of backlight shooting outdoors, and optimizes noise in night mode. This update also optimizes charging speed and adds a decimal point display feature. Moreover, there are optimizations in touch control, game experience, and more.

Will Realme 7 receive Android 11 Update?

Yes, Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 7 will be receiving the Android 11 based realmeUI 2.0 Update in India. It is supposed to be rolled out by the end of December 2020.
