Realme 8s specifications, looks revealed: 90Hz, Dimensity 810 SoC, and more

Realme seems to now be working on expanding its Realme 8 series lineup in India. Two new smartphones – Realme 8i and Realme 8s are likely to be released in India in the near future. This comes after the firm introduced several Realme 8 models in the nation, including the Realme 8, Realme 8 5G, and Realme 8 Pro. Now, 91mobiles, in collaboration with well-known leakster @OnLeaks, have revealed the specifications and renders of the upcoming realme smartphone. Let us take a look at what the Realme 8s would look like, and offer under the hood.

The Realme 8i will include a 6.5-inch display and come with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. OnLeaks further reports that the phone would be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, under the hood. In case you’re curious, the phone would come with support for 5G networks, standing up on its promise to become a 5G leader. It will have 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and support for 5GB of virtual RAM (Dynamic RAM Expansion). It will most likely have 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Realme UI 2.0 will be installed out of the box on top of Android 11.


A 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W rapid charging capabilities is among the other features. As for the selfie camera, a 16-megapixel sensor will also be included with the phone. The top of the display is likely to have a hole-punch cutout. The new appeared renders exposes a triple-camera system on the back of the phone.

A 64-megapixel main camera sensor will be housed in the rectangular camera module. The Realme 8s will include a fingerprint scanner on the side, implying that an LCD display could be used. The power button and SIM tray are on the right, while the volume rocker is on the left. The speaker grille, USB Type-C connector, and 3.5mm headphone jack are all located on the bottom edge.
