Realme today posted a survey on the official community page asking users questions about their laptop preferences. This is in line with the previous reports where Realme laptops are tipped to launch in June 2021, that is later this year.
The company also recently put out a teaser for the Realme Meow Book, which certainly looked like an April fools joke. Madhav Sheth in a previous interview revealed that the company has received a tremendous number of questions regarding Realme laptops and their future.
The new community post reads “We have been seeing tons of requests for Laptop, and we want to better understand your needs”. This might be a hint towards the arrival of the Realme laptops in the country.
Some of the questions in the survey include: Do you currently own a laptop? If so, which brand?, When did you purchase your current laptop?, How much are you willing you spend on your next laptop? and more. You can go ahead and fill out the survey form from the link below.
Since the company also puts out an option for pricing under 30,000 INR in India, there’s a possibility that the laptop’s base model might be priced under Rs.30,000. However, we do expect the company to introduce higher-end models as well.
The company will take on the likes Xiaomi, HP, Dell, Lenovo, and so on in the notebook segment in India. Since neither of Realme’s sister companies has brought a laptop to the market yet, the company may partner with an existing ODM or use its in-house R&D and manufacturing units which is a big challenge for a new brand. The laptops will be powered by AMD or Intel chipsets and run on Windows 10 OS. Independently, Madhav Sheth in a recent conversation revealed the organization’s plans to launch loads of new category products this year.
