According to a new rumour from a prolific leakster from China, Realme will soon launch the Realme GT Neo Flash Edition in the country. Flash, here stands for charging and it is said that the new edition will come with support for 65W fast charging.
Realme’s fastest charging phone currently tops out at a maximum speed of 65W, however, for some reason the Realme GT Neo only supports 50W fast charging with its 4,500 mAh battery. While we don’t really understand why the company is making this move, the Flash Edition is said to come with support for 65W charging with no other changes to the device. Realme GT Neo Specifications
Realme GT Neo runs Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11. The phone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 360hz touch response rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1200 CPU and Mali-G77 MC9 GPU with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For photos and videos, the Realme GT Neo packs a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary Sony IMX682 sensor with f/1.73 aperture, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor for ultra-wide shots and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for macro shots. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter housed in a hole-punch cutout located at the top left corner of the screen.
For connectivity, the Realme GT Neo comes with support for dual 5G (5G+5G), 4G, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Realme has packed a 4,500mAh battery in this phone with support for 50W fast charging. The phone is 8.4mm thick and weighs just 179g.
