[Update: Realme 7 5G Too] Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G Receives First Update with New Features

[Update: March 4, 2021]: Realme is now rolling out the same update to the Realme 7 5G in Europe. Do note that the Realme 7 5G in Europe is a rebranded version of the Narzo 30 Pro in India

The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G SoC, a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging, a 48-megapixel triple camera array, a 6.5-inch 120Hz hole-punch hole IPS LCD display, and more is now receiving its first update.

As per reports, the device has started receiving its first OTA update, which carries the firmware version RMX2111PU_11_A.29 and is based on Realme UI 1.0 with Android 10. The update brings the February 2021 security patch update, multiple bug fixes, adds new features for screenshots optimizes the device for overall system stability.

    • Updated Android security patch: February 2021
  • Bluetooth
    • Fixed the probabilistic disconnecting issues of automobile Bluetooth
    • Optimized the probabilistic noise of the Bluetooth earphones
  • Wi-Fi
    • Fixed the issue where Wi-Fi automatically turns off when connecting to a hotspot on some devices
  • Screenshot
    • Added image crop feature
    • Optimized the screenshot fluency on Add Clock page
  • System
    • Optimized the system stability

If you haven’t received the update automatically, head over to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update to check for updates. The update is rolling out in batches and hence might take some time for the update to rollout.

The Realme Narzo 30 Pro and the Narzo 30A are in line for the Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11. While the company has announced no official date for the rollout, we expect the Realme UI 2.0 Early Access program to be announced within the next couple of weeks.
