Realme is gearing up for the launch of its first robotic vacuum cleaner in India later this year. We also previously reported that a new Realme Party Speaker and Vacuum cleaner robot is in the works.

As with the majority of robot vacuum cleaners on the market, the Realme Vacuum Robot will probably have a compact circular design with sweeping and mopping functions. With the Realme Vacuum Robot, users are likely to find features like remote control, real-time mapping, and scheduled cleaning. It is possible that the robotic vacuum cleaner will also be compatible with Google Assistant. Realme’s first robotic vacuum cleaner will be paired via the Realme Link app, although it’s not clear exactly what features it will come with.

The company has confirmed to India Today Tech that it indeed is planning to launch the vacuum cleaning robot in India and that it will be a part of a bigger IoT push that it has earmarked.

Although the price of the Realme Vacuum Robot has not been disclosed, considering the aggressive pricing that the company follows, it’s likely to cost between Rs 22,000 and Rs 28,000 in the country. As for its competitor’s pricing, the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P carries a price tag of Rs 24,999 in India, and we do expect to see some aggressive pricing from Realme this time.

Smart bulbs, smart plugs, motion-activated night lights, a smart scale, and a smart camera are among Realme’s AIoT offerings. At the moment, Realme is mainly focusing on the GT  flagship series.
