At an event held today, Realme has launched five new products, which are not smartphones. Two of them include the Realme Watch 2 and the Watch 2 Pro (previously launched globally), while the other three are the Buds Q2 Neo, the Buds Wireless 2, and the Buds Wireless 2 Neo. The Realme Watch 2 Pro features a bigger display, hundreds of new watch faces and comes with an IP68 rating. Realme Watch 2 Pro, Realme Watch 2 Price in India
The Realme Watch 2 Pro price in India is set at Rs. 4,999. It is available in two colours Metallic Silver and Space Grey. The Realme Watch 2 on the other hand costs Rs.3,499 and is available in a single Black colour. Both the smartwatches will go on sale starting July 26th in India via realme.com, Flipkart and other mainline channels.
Realme Watch 2 Pro Features
It features a 1.75-inch display, making it larger than the regular Realme Watch 2. The display has a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Besides more than a hundred watch faces, the smartwatch also has a physical button on the right side. It is IP68 rated dust and water-resistant.
The watch also offers heart rate monitoring and a SpO2 measurement alongside being capable of detecting sleep patterns, reminding to drink water, meditation, VO2max, and tons more. Currently, there are over 90 sports modes available for the wearable device. The device features a dual-satellite GPS for tracking outdoor activities.
The Realme Watch 2 Pro comes with several convenient features, including music control, camera control, Find My Phone, social media notifications, and weather updates. With a battery capacity of 390mAh, the smartwatch is claimed to offer 14 days of battery life. Connectivity is provided by Bluetooth 5.0.
Realme Watch 2 Specifications
The Realme Watch 2, successor to the original Realme Watch sports a square dial, with a 1.4-inch display and a 320×320 pixel resolution. Among the wearable’s 90 Sports Modes are basketball, boxing, dancing, golf, hiking, indoor cycling, outdoor running, table tennis, and yoga.
The battery on the Realme Watch 2 is rated at 315mAh and the company claims that it can last for 12 days on a single charge. The smartwatch can be charged using a magnetic charger from Realme. Interestingly, both the new wearables can now be used to control IoT devices such as TWS earphones, smart lights and other devices. A dust and water-resistant rating of IP68 is granted to the Realme Watch 2.
There is a continuous heart rate monitoring feature that is said to be built-in to the smartwatch through a “professional-level” PPG sensor. Besides SpO2, the wearable also has Sleep Monitor features. Furthermore, Realme Watch 2 includes features like Hydration Reminder, Sedentary Reminder, Camera Control and Mediation Assistant. The watch features Bluetooth v5 connectivity, and it’s supported by both Android and iOS devices.
