The successor to the first generation Realme Watch is expected to launch soon in India. The smartwatch was said to arrive in India in May, but the company has postponed its upcoming launches, thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Ahead of the launch event, a unboxing video of the upcoming Realme Watch 2 has leaked online.
Alongside the unboxing video, tipster Abhishek Yadav has uploaded some live images of the smartwatch. Going by the images, the smartwatch will feature a square-shaped display, similar to the one seen on the first generation. There are visible thick bezels around the display.
The retail packaging will have the usual realme colors, yellow and black. The smartwatch will have a square-shaped display, a button on the right edge, and a default black silicone strap.
As revealed from the video, the Realme Watch 2 will come with a 1.4-inch TFT colour touchscreen display, with a peak brightness of 600nits. There would be support for blood oxygen monitoring with the SpO2 sensor along with 24 x 7 heart-rate monitoring.
Other feature son the smartwatch include IP68 certification, 90 workout modes, sleep tracking, music control, support for checking incoming notifications, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and measure at 257.6 x 35.7 x 12.2mm. The watch will miss out on the ability to reply to notifications.
The smartwatch will be powered by a 305 mAh battery which is claimed to offer 12-day battery life on a single charge. There’s a magnetic charging base, to keep the Watch 2’s battery recharged.
